ok, i have a little electric 4wheeler, i want to take the gear drives and wheels and stuff put it onto a metl sheet and hook a nitro engine to it, and take the steering of it and out it n too, but i got one problem with the engine, i dunt have bearings in it, i also dunt have alot of compression but i can still start it, just can i start it without the bearings?what will it do if i do?an how long can i run it like that?

Is it an engine that was meant to have bearings but is not missing them (do they even make any engines w/o bearings anymore?)? Assuming that it is, my guess would be that running it would probably at worst eventually tear the engine apart in a spectacular manner, and at best just ruin it. Remember how fast these little things are turning.. those bearings are in there for a reason.

If you're still going to try it, I would get it started and then stay way the heck away from it, just in case.

Heh, I didn't even think about that. Probably won't run at all.

what kind of engine is it just curious it doesnt matter what engine it is the crankshaft has to have support otherwise its just going to go anywhere it wants also without bearings youll have a extra air intake completly screwing up any tune the engine may have just thinking that it would run with out bearings is a waiste your filling up this thread with BS talking about that.
