If your going to be racing i suggest xxx.nt if your going to bash rc10gt if your going to do both rc10gt. The xxx-nt is designed stricly for racing its light fast and great for the tracks. The gt was a great racer but time went by and now newer models are starting to shine. Both are reasonably upgradeable. Hope this helps

Ultimate

RC10GT is the best as it is a better backyard basher and has alot of hopups parts from RPM-GPM
plastics to aluminum and its a nice monster truck with big tires

Im going to pretend you never said that....(See pic below, MGT and RC10GT) Because we all know the GT is the same size as a Monster Truck

Now, for a Begginer the RC10GT is alot easier to work on and is durable for when you crash it(you WILL crash it....trust me). RC10GT has more hop-ups(racing upgrades and bashing) and the xxx-nt has a good amount.

just get whatever your hobby shop carries the most.
