Should I keep the Roto - start or buy a Pull - start for my HPI MT2?
It's annoying to travel with the roto start, but it's easy to start my truck. The pull start goes in the truck, so you don't need to worry about space in your bag
, but is it easy to start well tuned car? Do you need to pull many times?

Something else to think about. Some pull starts require you to remove the body to pull the starter. That can be a pain, especially if the motor dies several times. Roto is a minor pain, but it's hard to beat. I do have pull start vehicles though, and they are pretty easy to start. If your engine starts right up with a roto, you'll start right up with a pull. If you have to crank your roto for all it's worth to get running, you'll pull until you are blue in the face !

I have a mt-2 with a pull i don't have to remove the body but i still hate pull starts. The pull start goes for about $18. When i switch my engine i'm moving to a different starter.
