I have another question...I was replacing my diff gear with a alum. one and when i put every thing back together when i spin my spur nothing happens and when i spin my wheels nothing happens i have tryed adjusting everything i can...Could it be my bearings on my Top shaft(the one that holds the spur and stuff...
Any Suggestions Appreciated...

it does click when i spin my shaft and then it goes smooth then clicks and gets stuck then clicks and repeats every thing again...????

I took it all back apart and put it back together now when i spin it the wheels spin but it still doesnt seem right any help will be appreciated...please i want to run it but i cant get it right....PLEASE HELP!!!

it still seems like the bearings...i dont really know much about bearings is it at all possible it is bearings?(the ones on the top shaft)??

how much grease should be in there? i didnt put a lot...i did unassemble it and then reassemble it...do you dont think its the bearings??

I put a lot more greased in there and now it works fine...i tried to adjust and tighten the diff that didnt work but i solved the problem with more grease now just cant wait to run it...

ok i still dont know if it is right i just dont think i know how to adjust it i know when you turn the wheel the opposite one should turn the other way...but it doesnt i tried loosening it and then it wont spin at all...i tried tightening it and it wont turn the other way...what is the problem...when i turn the spur both the wheels spin...What should i do to adjust?

Sounds like your diff is probably rebuilt incorrectly.
Here's a link on how to rebuild a ball diff:

It doesn't tell you what parts go where, but it does give a nice step by step plan on how to do it. The manuals show what part goes where, but i'm not sure if the orientation of the parts is critical (which way they face).
I haven't rebuilt my diff yet, but i plan to do it soon, so i have been looking into it.
