I'm not sure if you should get a full roll cage, That would be alot of uneeded weight. Instead, you might want to consider just a roll bar, It would be much more practical.
You could make one that would just protect the part that you need protected, and thus would save weight from all that extra metal on your car that isn't really doing anything.
But if you still feel like you want to buy one, and spend all that money on weight,

It is a little pricey, but my cousin has one for his savage and that motherf***** is strong as hell. And accually it is really light for a full roll cage, my rustler has more weight in aluminum parts.

i use 3/16" brake tubing and a small tank of Oxy and acyetelene (you can get it all at lowes, make sure to pick up something that will also shield your eyes; shade 5 minimum) and get a couple O/A brazing rods and just expierment. I have and built a tube chassis for my friends clod. Just remember your prep though before you weld. Dremel or air grind all welding areas down, notch tubinf for tight fit and chip all slag off. This is a fairly involved procedure. I give it IIII out of IIIII on the hardness scale. If you can weld though this is a fun and asy little project that looks trick and is cheap!

Very resourcefull! What type/size/guge of tubing & flat stock (for the cross straps) did you use?
