well the way I see it I start swiching to aluminum and then the next thing in the link will break until I have all aluminum parts. once I have all aluminum it will be heavy and **** will start to bend. So I figure if I just stick to plastic it is cheep enough that I can just buy new plastic when it breaks.

How ever if I where to start to swith to aluminum, I would make my own parts because it is not that hard and I can make everything just the way I want it.

So is there such thing as an aftermarket a arm that is longer than stock?

I remember somthing about putting on some electric rustler arms instead on the stock ones. I believe you could get longer front arms by using the rear e-rusty arms. You could do a search for it on here or traxxas forums.
If that is the case, maybe you could also get the RPM e-rusty arms, that way they wont break, still light, and will be wider.
