Rebuilding the Diff. in an RC10GT
I bought a used RC10GT with an OS .12 motor, and everything looks and feels great except the transmission...It seems a little gritty when I turn the rear wheels ans seems like maybe some gears are slipping here and there....I'm thinking I need to rebuild the differential. Is it hard? Expensive? Is there any online pointers on how to do it? Thanks for your help....

RE: Rebuilding the Diff. in an RC10GT
I got the same question. My main big gear with the balls in it are worn right into the plastic. can not get them out. The question I got is do you put grease on the steel plates that run up against the balls and can you use plain grease on them and on the other gears also or is it special grease somebody told me two use silcone oil like in a buggys diffs. Thanks for the help.
