Default TR15-MT2 18SS-MT2

I'm getting my first nitro stadium truck. I'm deciding between these 3 trucks. I've heard a lot of good things about the MT2 & the MT2 18SS, but not much about the Kyosho TR15. Which is the better truck? (Please reply, I want everyone's opion.)

hpi, hpi ,hpi. The HPI's have more support, hop-ups and they are four wheel drive. The 18SS is fast to!

What is the best one for race? I've heard that the 18SS dosn't have a racing class, is that true?

i would suggest the mt2 rtr for your first truck than the 18ss you will have about $100 to $300 more into it depending on radio selection and servo`s and all the support equipment

hmmm...well, money isn't really an issue. It's kind of a birthday present, my parents pay for half, I pay for half. After reading a lot of threads I think I'd rather get the SS. 52zmaster2001 what radio & servos did you buy for your 18SS?

the radio in the picture is not what is installed and the truck is the 18SS and i have put titanium turnbuckles on it with rpm long cups they dont make any yet because it uses 67mm lenght ones but i used some from one of my T4 there 60mm that is why i had to use the long rpm ball cups and a tuned pipe since the picture was taken, the radio i have is futaba 3PM TFS synthesized radio and a novak xxtra synthesized receivers with hitec 645 steering servo and a hitec 625 throttle servo the throttle servo you can get away with any std servo i used a stock one till my new ones got here plus you can use this radio for other rc`s if you buy receiver and crystals or more synthesized receivers i use this same radio for my FT T4 and TeamB4 and my ofna 9.5mbx violator

Yes, I have some experience driving high performance RC's. I drove my brother's Rustler all the time before he sold it.
