so who makes an aluminum front bulkhead for the GT
and are the Hardcore nose tubes any good? was thinkin about gettin the nosetubes and mounts from HCR.

GPM makes aluminum front bulkheads i think. I would stock up on the stock nose tube mounts...thats what i do.

Hi
I would say stay with the sock front bulkhead's because the GPM aluminum ones are junk. I know because I have a set, and you have to replace the plastic hing pin bushing after awhile. And GPM dose not sell the hing pin bushing by them selves.

another thing is that its good to make something like the nose tubes be the weak link so its cheaper and easier to replace than say a whole chassis or all the screws on the front end (which i have done both of those) so keep th stockers. in 99% of the situations its durable. Also AE parts are dirt cheap!

true, i did think about that.
the bulkhead would be FINE, if the threads weren't stripped out.
i'm gonna see if i can't rig it up just so it works so i can go playin at the gravel pit friday:P

use Super glue on the threads and put set-screws on the bolts on top of that. I have done that and it works like a charm. Heck i would overnight you one if you woulda told me sooner! I got like four of them laying around in my pitbox!

i think that hardcore racing should put a guarntee on their chassis if it bends or something. dont you agree? Cause paying 135 bucks for something i blink an eye at. I have to say that was one of the biggest wastes of money to me!

if Hardcore had the same guarantee that RPM does, I'd run their parts exclusively.
but, they don't, so I won't.
$100+ for a flat chunk of ANY metal, beryllium, tungsten, I don't care, is too friggin much.
