Ok heres the story, I had to do some tranny work on my Max ST and I forgot to check the alignment with the three gears and the clutch bell and guess what? I NOW HAVE THREE FLAT GEARS. Oh man I am TICKED. And if that wasn't bad enough, I just bought a new differential gear and IT'S DEFECTIVE, when you pick the car up off the ground and turn one wheel, they both turn the same way, which is not supposed to happen. Im guessing it isn't that important but would still like some advice. [
] And the story gets even better, I CAN'T FIND THE GEARS ANYWHERE!!!! I would make my own except I have no bearings. If anyone has some suggestions please PLEASE let them fly.

For your diff problem, I bet youve got the little gears in it wrong.

1st of all, the transmission I have on my car is not a single speed, it's a three speed from an Overdrive ST. And also, the gears in the Diff. are alligned correctly. In addition, the last time I checked the forums were NOT for being sarcastic and unhelpful. I would be willing to bet you don't know the first thing about what I'm talking about, SenSeiRC. How old are you? 15?

I have a Max St pro too. last month when I put the OS 18 in it I decided to change out the Diff gears with steel ones. The Diff casing I bought was defective too. I had to put vise grips on each shaft to get them to turn in oppisite directions. I installed it anyway and after about 10,000 rotations that stiffness went away.
As far as the spurs go. I was stripping 2nd gear alot because of the way the shift point was shifting at too many RPM's. No matter how well you have them meshed if they are shifting too late it puts to much initial force on the 2nd/3rd gear. Lower the shift point. meaning make it shift earlier when your rpms arent as high.
Also what method are you using to mesh your gears?? Its a tricky process with mine with 2 gears I couldnt imagine 3 gears.
No need to be a turd !!!!

Yea, pretty much it was my fault for not checking the gear alignment. as for methods, I used to use a piece of aluminum foil, and now, pretty much I can just look at it and tell if they are lined up right I just forgot too this time. As for the shift point, it's perfect. and again, if anyone knows where I can get replacement gears for a three speed transmission please let me know. I have already looked on tower hobbies.

Check this list then- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=DTXD92**&P=X
EDIT----
Looks like they only have the 1's/2nd gears. Try this list- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...p?&C=CLB&V=DTX
Dont pay any mind to the items description, just compare part numbers
