Default RC10gt basic questions

I checked the team associated home page and didn't find what I was looking for. I just need a couple of basics so I can shop for some cosmetic changes. First, I want bigger tires for better ground clearance when bashing. What size tires does it take? also, I want a bashing body and a race body. what size body do I need to look at?

www.towerhobbies.com is your friend. Type in RC10GT in the search and enjoy.

I searched there for bodies, but they only have the baja style. I'll probably end up going with one of these, but I was wanting to look at all options.

Proline and atomik is what I got.

Painting the body(prolines bodys) is alot more fun IMO.

For the tires, you can check out the Pro-Line Dirt Works for bashing. They are about the same size as racing tires, but are a little bit bigger. Another option for your body is to get a sedan body and cut it to fit your GT. It takes a bit more work to do it right, but the end result is worth it. To get one that will work, take your GT to your LHS and "test fit" the bodies to find one that will work, it just needs to fit between the wheels and long enough to cover the front end and rear end of the chassis. I know it's an electric Losi, but this might give you an idea wether or not that this is the route that you wanna go. [link=http://www.geocities.com/mydartswinger/transam.html]Here's what I did with a sedan body on my Losi XXX-T.[/link] Take a look and see if it's what you wanna do. Otherwise, try extended body mounts and put on a monster truck body as there are a vast number of choices when lookin at monster truck bodies.

Fronts size should be the same as the rears size. I run the same size Dirt Works on all 4 corners of my GT for bashing.
