Default Need a little help please, engine stalling at idle

Hi Gang,
I have a 7 month old Nitro Evader, had about 3 gallons run through it. I have all of a sudden had trouble keeping it running. It cranks easy, I must have the throttle trim up though, but when I turn the throttle trim back down it dies. Doesn't seem to want to idle. New Glo Plug (twice), new clutch bell, new fuel tank and lines, running same fuel as always, just wondered if this was the symptoms of an engine needing a rebuild? Any suggestions, Thanks in advance. Joe

ok this is the motor loading up here what u do start it up with your foot propped up in front so it dont go any were start it up give it quick 2 sec jabs of 1/2 throttle then let it worm up like that in needs to be wormed up before ran cause it will stall so keep giving it jabs the easily go from 1/4 to 1/2 to 3/4 to full back down thats a sure fire way to keep a motor running at idle cause when are motors (2 stroke ) idle for a few they load up then when u want it to go there is to much fuel in the compression stroke and it dies thats your problem

If you lift the back end of the truck up and pull the pull start, do the wheels turn?
Do the wheels spin fast when you fire it up with the wheels off the ground and die when you set them down?

These are signs of a busted clutch spring.

Your engine might just need to rebuilt mine only lasted for 2 gallons if so send it to duratrax and they will do it under warrenty. Also if it is the clutch spring try a tower hobbies st-15 spring they are much stronger.
