I'm loving my nitro evader ST. Everwhere I go, 2wd ST's are much more popular than 2wd buggies. Now if it were between a 1/8th 4wd buggy and the evader st, I'd go with the buggy. But for what you listed, I'd stay with the ST, it's more forgiving when coming down from a jump.

ST is probably a little more stable and easy to drive, and perhaps a little more durable because the shock towers on the BX are exposed.

I have an ST and love it. Gerwen is probably right about the shock towers. I was bashing my ST yesterday without the body and snapped the rear shock tower in half when i rolled the truck. There is a silver lining... Duratrax is sending me a new shock tower for free.

Get the st it has a racing class where as the buggy has no official class to race in.

Duratrax isnt that good uless you are a noob. For something competitive go with an associated, losi, or mugen truck.
