I'm looking for a new steering servo for my rc10gt.
The one thats in it has gotten very sloppy. I was
wondering if anyone knows what the specs are on
the stock servo. I was thinking about going with a
couple of Futaba 3010's. (1 for the throttle to)
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance...

I've searched all over and haven't been able to find
anything on the stock servo. Or advice to put the 3010's
in or not. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know the specs for the stockers but I do know the Futaba 3010 is a good servo. Much more torque than a standard servo. 72 oz at 4.8 volts and 90 oz at 6 volts, sounds good to me.

I have the Futaba 3010's but I'm not sure if the gears will hold up,being nylon...
I guess I could just try it and see but I dont want to ruin a good servo...

The 625 only has 4 more oz of torque than the 3010's,and metal gears.
No faster or slower. If the servo has that muck torque then the gears
should hold up to that then right? I'll just try it and find out. I'll let you
all know what it turns out like.

Well, I tried the Futaba 3010's...WOW!!!!!Is all I can say.
Much better.
Faster than stock and stronger by far.
Even did a stress test on the gears(not on purpose). Hit
a curb at about 45degrees at about half throttle. Holding
up great. Not bad for a $23 servo. I'll let you know more
as testing goes on.
