Hey I got a free Max ST with a Torq .12 was just looking for an upgrade really like a much better engine, as we keep having problems with the .12 anyways.. time for something with more power/new. Im getting sick of listening to our local hobby shop say " oh they stopped making that 5 years ago.. " im like yes I KNOW.. but i got it for free and dont feel like shelling out 400+ on a new T-maxx or something.
I was looking at different engines like O.S 18, Torq .16 ( can never find hp rating for it ) velocity engines and so on.. im not sure what is best, I know the torq .16 bolts right in but i dont know the hp ratings and am kind of curious.. im not sure if the O.S 18 bolt in and fit or not.. or if the velocity engines are better than the torq engines.. ? Im just getting frustrated trying to find a suitable engine that will give me modern day speed on an older stadium truck.. anyone have a Max ST ? and done any of these swaps ?? or just know whats best help please[
]
thanks !

.18 will fit no problem, also the most powerful engine you can really bolt in that truck with out problems. You MAY want to buy the Maximum ST PRO parts to strengthen the chassis for the .18 cv-r
