its carbon fiber paint, sorry.... but it looks great. unfortunatly, we had to heat it up and bend it because the body wouldnt fit.

the body is made for a losi xxx-nt, but you have to heat gun some places, and bend them to fit on your car. also, i suggest taking 5 (or 4, cant remember) AAA batteries, nimh, and putting them in the center of the car, less wieght, faster steering and response. not to mention its rechargable.

my front ones have never broken, and 33$ is a lot of money. i still have the ones which came out of the box, and i have gotten a good 7-9 FT of air and landed plat on the ground, the only thing that broke in my car hobby was rear shock towers, and arms, rear only.

Surely now when the arms take a hit it's going to transfer the force into that thin section of chassis? Not knowing how the Jato is built, I can't see how it is reinforced on top, but it looks like that's what's going to happen!

you know, before you speak, look at the jato very carfully,

i like the way the carbon fiber looks in the sun, im not looking for the realistic look, im looking for the bad***** look. (god knows how easly people get effended these days). not to mention, the carbon fiber look, added some paint, and a very, very, thin coat of fiberglass, makes it stronger. but the good thing is, it still bends, big time, i tested it. at about 60 degress is were it will bend, and have a dent, and it will always come back to its original state. keep in mind, im looking for preformance and ruggedness, but sexyness.

Why don't you explain how it's going to work for me then instead of going all defensive because I questionned something. How is the stock shock tower going to prevent the chassis bending?

I've seen the scraped up rear chassis plate of his truck one too many times now, lol.
that being said
those arms look tough as hell. $35 for a pair aint bad at ALL.
BTW, hobbypeople is only a local thing for you cali/NV folks. HP is mail order for the rest o' the country.

chassis plate, what else would it be?
it's the plate of aluminum that makes up the bottom of your chassis.

its not going to bend, at least for me. i have no clue how bad of a hit you need to have to bend that plate. its not going to happen any time soon, thats for sure.
