Default Just a question

I just bought a Traxxas Jato. I watch the dvd and i read the manual, I got it all up and running and when i give it throttle, NO GO. Everything is stock. any help is appreciated.

everything is functioning correctly. Its like the power isn't transfering to the gear, the inside is spinning but the not the gear it self.

wow, that is weird, i just ordered my jato so i really don't have answers, my only advice is to check really good all you gears and stuff..

If you hit the throttle and hear the motor rev up; most likely your slipper clutch is to loose. Tighten it a half turn and try again.

When you throttle it, does the spur gear(the big gear) move?

No and neither does the smaller gear. But i can it's insides turning. Thanks for any help.

Check your clutch. Sounds like your clutch isn't engaging.com

yup definitely the clutch. take off the clutchbell(small gear on engine) and see id there's even any clutch shoes there. maybe your truck was built on a friday. someone might of screwed up. I can't help with a picture sorry. the big aluminum wheel thing you see spinning is your flywheel. on that are mounted two clutch shoes(sometimes three depending on make). good luck. whatever the problem is its nothing major.
