channels and FM/AM?
might sound stupid, but here goes...
if one guy is on an AM radio 75mhz, channel 74.......
would i be able to use an FM radio, 75 mhz, channel 74?
i know there alot of other frequencies, but i'm just trying to learn anyway.
i just bought the Futaba 3PM FM 75mhz. i'd like to keep my 74 cuz nobody ever seems to have it. check out the futaba bag i bought for it.

RE: channels and FM/AM?
neither will override the other. given two radios on the same channel, one am, one fm, the fm stands a better chance of not suffering interference, but they certainly will interfere with each other. a frequency is a frequency, doesn't matter what you do with it.

RE: channels and FM/AM?
You will get interference.
I tested the same thing not long ago. I had my FM JR XS3 on ch70 and my AM Futaba RTR radio on Channel 70.
My JR was unaffected, it worked fine, but the AM radio was unusable.
