Hi guys im new to RC but I have to say I love it so far. I have a Team Losi XXX-NT Sport and im looking to put some money in it. So to my Q, I need to know if the Team Losi XXX-NT Sport is the same as the other XXX-NT and will all the aftermarket parts interchange? Thanks for any help and I hope to all of you guys/girls at the track...

There would be a lot of modding involved to get a big block to fit. You are a newb so i wouldnt try it. You can have fun with rc just by going to the local track. If you really want power go with a .18 engine.

Hey dont go power crazy with your first car. You have to work your way up the chain. If you have too much power as a noobie your gonna end up doin some crazy things.

If you're going to race, learn how to get around the track with the engine you have long before upgrading. If you put a pile of power into that thing, you'll end up so frustrated with trying to drive it, you'll end up quitting.

yeah learn how to take turn and when to accelerate. You should read some magazines that will give you tips so the you can learn many of the techniques the pros use. I read Rc Driver and it gives me tons of tips.

CV-R would be a good choice, I have a Ported/turbo crank/knifed rod blah blah CV and it's almost too much power.
A .21-.28 would get owned by .12's around the track, because theres only so much power the tyres can put down to the ground, any more is useless.

i would not put a motor bigger than a .18 becuse you will be replacing parts left and right
first thing to go would be the transmission
i have had to replace probley 4 compound gears with my weak fantom .15
