Default Which o.s. cv-rx for my N-rusty?

Hey all...im not exactly the biggest newb in nitro, but i just recently got my first nitro truck...a Used n-rusty. So, it needs an engine and some other little touch up things. I just ordered a blue alum. upper deck from RD Racing Products, and a CF front tie bar...now im getting an engine. Im thinking of the OS .18 CV RX, and I think im going to go with that...but im not exactly sure which model to go with. I know theres a couple different ones...slide carb...rotary carb...really new to all this nitro talk- so you all are gunna have to help me out here Anywho, if you could, lmk if this engine will drop right in, and if so...which model i should get. Thanks all

You should try changing the title of the thread to better fit your question.

Which OS .18 cv-rx for my rusty?

Might attract folks with answers.

I don't know which shaft you need for a rusty, but I think the rusty has a rotary carb stock, so it would take extra work to fit a slide carb on. Go with the rotary, you probably wouldn't notice the difference anyway.

Thanks bud...sorry bout the title confusion . But hey, i noticed this exact line on tower, and me having an old pro .15 rusty, it sounds like im luck...: Fits all Traxxas® vehicles w/side-exhaust engines and all Associated RC10GT series...Direct fit for the Pro 15 not the 2.5. In other words, im getting [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGGP8&P=0]this[/link] engine from o.s. Thanks gerwen

Dunno man...search around on tower and look for something that says direct drop in for trx 2.5 or something like that. Or, find someone more knowledgable then me, and ask them :-D
