Can you dye rims after they have tires mounted and glued on?

depends, it would be better if you would have the wheels only, or you can be carefull and protect the tires, and then dye the wheels.

No, to dye rims you use rit dye which requires there to be boiling water and when the tires go into boiling water the glue will come off. You could spray paint them or do something to that nature though.

I will never use the boiling method again. It makes the wheel paint come off.

Wow... it still came off. I'd rather apply finger nail remover and paint thinner in the bead than boil them.

All plating on plastic wheels peels off, which is why its pointless to get them. Peel it and redye it. Boil like the directions say
