Its your brake lever. It connects on the servo and your brake cam (think thats what its called) The cam looks like its on the side of the tranny. I circled the peace in red for you thou.

Does the Losi 51T spur need to be used with a different clutch bell? I tried installing the Losi today and it just didn't mesh with the stock clutch bell correctly as if the pitch was off or didn't match.
Thanks for any information.

Ok so I figured out that, but now I have another problem. The gear in the picture below (I forgot what it's called) won't move, when I put the motor in it wouldn't even move a little. So whats going on?

Back the nut off a little and see if it spins, you either have the spacers wrong or a blown engine..............lol..............hope not[&o]

if the rod is off the shaft it could lock it also OR if he took the piston off and put it back on backwards it could lock also

Well does it have compression?(turn flywheel and see if it gets hard to turn at one point) Then make sure the idle isn't too low. Then check to make sure the flywheel isn't loose so the engine can idle. Then check for air leaks. Then check the glow plug. Then ask me what is wrong again with a full explanation on how it dies if the above fails.

RE: Official XTM X-Cellerator thread!!
Thanks for that XTMer I am goin to hunt down an RPM part
I went through the first 20 or so pages, and want to know that if I do go with this
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXERF2&P=7
Do i still need this
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDLN7&P=V
Any help or anybody that has done it would be much appreciated. Is any drilling required? Or is it a straight bolt on thing?
Does the battery box get in the way?

RE: Official XTM X-Cellerator thread!!
Well....I am not really sure. I can probably check with my friends sav tomarrow. All i know is it directly bolts on and requires nothing. I would leave the pull start though. It is easier IMO. I actually have the chance to use one because my friend has an extra, but my engine usually starts in the first 3 pulls anyway and then you don't have to carry around all that crap. Trust me everyone I know wants to get rid of it because you have to carry the starter with you everywhere you go and keep the batt charged. Some people like it though, I just personally think it is a pain and it is easier to just carry a glow starter. I would get the bearing anyway because you will need a new one eventually because these bearings are kind of like glow plugs but just last longer until they start to slip.

If the one you show is for the .15 it should be a direct bolt on[&o]
Do you have an XTM dealer in your area? The bolt on set up works great.................it #145890 no bearing required

Another question
1. Any idea how to get better braking on the car?
2. Would putting Mashers on it, make the car tend to roll on the road? When I currently drive now, if I put the brakes on from approx 20-30mph, and turn, I can make the car spin and do a sudden stop, if I had mashers, would there be a tendency to roll the car?
3. At the moment in order to start my car I need 20+ pulls of the starter hence the reason why I was thinking roto starter would be easier.
4. Is after run oil necessary if I use it every 2nd to 3rd day?

RE: Official XTM X-Cellerator thread!!
Are you talking about the HPI bolt on roto start?
Does that mean I no longer have to pull or prime the motor?
All I need to do is put the glow starter on the top, put the shaft in and press the button?

2. I have Mashers and I LOVE them. The problem is you lose some acceleration. Also the brakes won't lock up as well. The good things are backflips , look cool, last a long time, and faster top speed if that is what you are looking for. But yes the car will roll now, but not that badly.
3. To start the car first: Blow fuel till it reaches the carb by blowing into the exhaust line. Then pull a few times, then put glow starter on and start. Mine usually goes in 2 yanks.
4. If your car is going to be sitting use it. I usually only use it if it is going to sit for more than one day, but make sure you always run it out of fuel and never leave gas in the tank. It gums up and clogs everything up.
Any more Q$ Test me. rclynx is smart too

RE: Official XTM X-Cellerator thread!!
So don't leave fuel in over night?
mmmm
How would you blow into the exhaust pipe? PRetty dirty if you ask me?
At the moment I need about 20-30 pulls to start, but it does start
I normally do 3-6 pulls with the exhaust blocked and then another 20 or so to get the thing cranking over
Also where do I put the failsafe. I have bought one, and don't know where it goes lol
