I'm either into just plain beautiful paint jobs with all the details or a black to dark blue with flames in natural colors, white, yellow, orange, red................getting harder to do an original sceme with flames but still possible

I want to come up with some way to do a clean set up with different body mounts.............maybe in the next life, I never seem to have time to finish the projects I have already started........LOL

How the heck you hit a red light man?? sorry to hear that but drive to fast in Germany isn't possible I don't think people from the states would never make it driving in Europe. There not responsible enough drivers. I used to love it when one of my fellow countrymen got a little bump from a car thinking they have the right away. The absolute funniest thing there is in Germany ( an asian in a rental car, Mercedes ) no offense meant

Well, took my motor apart, checked some things like people said...put it back together and it was no longer locked up. I went to go start it up after and after pulling it a few times it locked up again. Not sure what it is now.

You should try a little detail on one of yout next paint jobs its really a good feeling to accomplish just a little something hard to do I like to put stripes and things like that when I'm sitting at the telly or doing accounting at my PC. Breaks up the work .

If you take it apart again just remove the pull start and one way bearing first and see if it turns over [&o]

I bought a clear body for the x-cell and did my own custom paint job, it was kind of a quickie(about 2.5 hours total) so here it is

And it now has graphite rear a-arms

Great job on the paint man do you have the aluminum rear hubs to go with those arms [link=http://www.xtm-dealer.com/Rear%20Suspension.html]149194[/link] its probably the weakest link in the X-cellerator [:-]

RCUSEE that looks sweet. I love the way you made the venting air holes. Did you use a template? You get that Tsais rear exhaust? If you did please let me know which one if it mounts well.

Hey suns going to be out up Berlin way soon, better get it together and make some vidios soon............LOL

Keep going its looking good my friend

i used my new body reamer for that, and thx

no its not a rear exhaust... its a normal side one and i have it laying around here since 3weeks... with the right parts you can also mount it to the back but the weightbalance wouldnt be all that or you might have to change the humpposition... because the 18tz would drive the car crazy thats why i will order 16, 18, 20 clutchgears to test which one works best

edit:

jup the weather down here is superb and im thinking about taking my g4 out by tomorrow... i just need to build me a new receiverhump and cant find my tools for it[:@]

Just be careful not to run your slipper to tight, it will rip up the gear box and if you have some time on the gear box be sure and tighten up the rear end bearings. The box is plenty strong it just can't handle the catching on the ground at full throttle............but almost all of the models are like that. I'll tell you what I'm not an electric type of guy but the new RAGE is a blast.............I've been beating up one of those fast little buggers 2 or 3 times a day for over a weak and nothing wrong with it yet...........Its great for small areas and a hell of a 4x4................good luck, I'm out waiting on the side to see you X-c monster running

yea, at the start of rc i didnt even know how to setup a slippergear(i didnt even know what its good for[:-]) but im pretty trained at that now... and i will also buy a aluminium diffgear, because the stock one is pretty weak, so far i ripped one because i had the slippergear setted up way too tight

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LX2870&P=7

and i will also buy these two, because my stock ones are pretty abused already

Thanks for the comment on the paint, I was thinking of buying another body, paint it and then sell it.

Have not bought those alum hubs yet, factory ones still on there plus I bought a set and then won a set on ebay(came with drive shafts i needed) This truck does go thru drive shafts, they are so weak, they give before the hub does[]

they break because of the plastic hubs.................they bind like hell under torque [X(] and that puts a lot of wear on the CVD's ............I have one with the same CVD's and well over 10 gallons of fuel and every fool under the sun driving it............so I'll gaurentee the Aluminum hubs help at least a little [&o]
