hey guys im back, i tried running it again today, and hes what i observed.

it starts up, takes a while but then it gets easier and easier to start the more times i start it.
it had a higher pitch sound than the first time i ran it (when it was fine)
there was no smoke visible,
it seemed to eat up nitro faster then it should? also the gas when it was running with its highER pitched sound, seemed to be bubbling inside the tank..

i also noticed some oily feeling liquid being lightly sprayed from the exhaust.

what do i do? i also touched the engine head. it was pretty damn hot. the type of hot that u cant touch it for more then like a milisecond

Don't know were to start. Your idle is too high, lean it. The exhaust is normal. Starting-normal. No smoke is good, but there should be a nice stream when you give it wide open throttle. Bubbling? That could be the reason your idle is revving higher, makw sure they are no cracks, holes, or openings in the tank. Be sure to check the fuel lines also.

You should get it, its a really good truck. Nothing like a Rusty, Jato, RC10GT, or XXX-NT.

^^Un-called for. That clip is funny but it has nothing to do with a XC.

pullstarters are poopie. The bad news is, i dont know of a rotostart that will bolt onto a XTM/SH engine.

Sullivan's Tigerdrive S689 will bolt right onto it.

HPI .21 roto start will fit with no mods at all. It'll even fit the 24.7.

Ya beat me to it:P

My .247 is still tighter than an 800 year old convent...the pullstart is a pain in the butt. Thinkin about takin the rotostart off my Savage and putting it on my .247.

most SH engines i've found are tight until their 4th or 5th gallon (granted, I've never run one of their SB's)...and then they still like tearing up one way bearings and pullstarters:P

It should work. Very similar to the HPI system.

LOL still don't have it...i've been working 84 hours a week, and I got a Savage X with which i've been getting intimate.
Once my hours have cut down to about half what they are now I'll worry about pickin up the new truck (don't be insulted that the X-C took a back burner to a giant bumbling savage, look how sexy it is!)
