motor leaking

Default motor leaking

why am i losing so much fuel the car is leaking fuel on the ground it not the gas tank i just got the car and rebuilt it last night do to the leaking the motor is a .15 motor and the truck is a traxxis nitro rustler se could it be leaking out of the out put shaft on the motor theres not alot of smoke when run so its not to rich anything would help

Could be your front bearing/bushing.

You can remove your motor.

Make sure your piston is at the bottom of the stroke.

Pull the glow plug.

Dump some fuel down the carb.

Seal your exhaust.

Put your finger over the carb.

Blow into the glow plug hole.

The idea is to pressurize the motor, and see where it is leaking from.

Have you checked your fuel line for holes.

check your screws on your pull start. you might need to take the pull start off and check the back plate screws if its not that it could be the gasket between the back plate and the engine case. get some buggy spray and clen your truck befor you work on it and it will be easier to see were its leaking from like anty said and AJ
