Default Which Glow Plug???

I have spent ages recently trying to get my nitro engine started recently, and I have come to the conclusion that it is the glow plug that is causing the problem... however I do not have a clue which one to replace it with... I am using a HPI T-15 engine with 20% "Blue Thunder" fuel... please help

this is the glow plug listed with the engine on tower so it should work for you [link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCB27&P=M[/link]

I think either one would be fine with 20% I would use the #8 though because it is listed with the engine on tower

Hi

You are running 20% in a .15 engine use ether a 0.S. A5 or a O.S. #8. The A5 is probably what you want.

Nah 20% isn't really enough nitro for use with an A5, you'd be better off with an #8, I only use A5's for 30%+.

Yes the A-5 is for big block engines like a .21 and run on 30% fuel the OS #8 is a good plug to use for most 20% fuel applications

The A5 is ALSO for running high nitro in small block engines, it is especially good for off road racing as it's larger and thicker coil stays brighter off throttle, therefore making throttle response snappier.

Believe me guys, I have tried many plugs and many fuel combos, I find the A5 needs 30% nitro to perform great in a smallblock.

Also, the Tower Hobbies glow plugs are an O.S. A3 hot plug...And cost less...

I use a Dynamite MC9 plug. It works really well. Seems to start easier with this plug than with the stock one it came with (I'm not sure what the model is; I think it's a O.S. #8). I don't know though, could just be that it just seemed that way to me.
