still no one has told me what the heck the prebuilt comes with! i know it has way less stuff than the RTR but does it have the engine?
no offense, but there is a tower hobbies search box on the top of this page, just type in st-15 and it tells you everything it comes with...

I recently purchase one because of the price. I paid $169. I had to do alot of assembling on this truck. Servos, throttle linkage and some miscellaneous pieces I had to install. Thought it was rtr out of the box. The battery holder on my truck was about an inch long. I called the customer service and they said they would send another one too me but 2 weeks later I have nothing. I tried to breakin my engine yesterday and my primer doesn't work on my fuel tank. It was too late to call TH so I have to wait until Monday. Once I got the fuel to the carb I couldn't get the engine to start. Not sure if I could have already burned out the glow plug already.
I am starting to love my HPI RS4 even more since I bought this. Never this hard to get running.

It is RTR, I didn't have to do a thing!

Wierd, do you have photos? It measures 2 1/2 by 1 1/4.

Just plug the exhaust and pull the cord a few times.

Tower engines are easy to tune and get running. Even the plane engines they have are very decent for the price!

I got the Nitro Sport and it runs great no problems with it and very durable and I modified mine and it will hit speeds of around 40 mph + mine probley 41 or 42 Mph cause I got a slitly bigger set of tires on the back. If you chuse the Nitro Sport SE you will like for the price and durablity.
