my pull start spring snapped the other day. when i tried to bend the spring to fit onto the pullstart unit, the metal just snaps. I have no idea what to do. i've tried heating it and bending it, but it still snaps no matter what it do. is there any special way to do this? thanks in advance

If this is for a traxxas pro .15, you can buy a new spring and rebuild your starter. Just about any other brand starter will be non-servicable, and you will have to buy a new recoil starter.
