RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0
Hi guys
I havnt had my evader out since last spring but was cleaning up today and found all my old RC magazines and wanted to get the evader out again but remebered the probs I had with it when I put it away[:@]
The problem was when the truck was at idle it still wanted to move forward?? even with the brake on it was moving forward, I dont know what would cause this? any help. want to get it out when spring comes,, if it ever comes, lol

hey jeremy, check your clutch spring .. thats a common poblem on the evaders... the clutch spring rubs and breaks, letting the clutch grab even when it is idling.. replace it with a traxxas tmaxx clutch (the 2.5 version) an you will have no more problems, its a direct drop in...

I had this problem with mine when I first changed the clutch shoes. After they wore down a little, it kind of fixed itself.

ouch! theres a reason its a slippin diff...it takes the strain off of the parts. if its locks it will put way to much torque on parts
