Default RE: questions

I find that my OS engines are a breeze to tune and keep tuned..

with that said, there are no RTR's that have OS engines stock... so... the options are:

- buy an OS for your Jato (don't know which one fits, but it's the OS18TM for the T-max, runs about $225)

- buy a RTR stadium truck that'll take the OS18CV-RX and put that engine in it, which leaves you a spare engine

either way, you'll need experience and you may as well learn to either tune your Jato or blow it up while trying, and that'll justify the new engine

your chosen hobby isn't one of the one with the least maintenance...

you'll find that if you run nitro, the engines will always need a quick tuning, as you gain more experience in the hobby, you'll be able to see what the engine needs a bit quicker and easier. The flip side of this is electric cars, in which case you'll spend time maintaining motors and the associated electrical. It's a double edged sword here, you either tune your nitro, or maintain springs, brushes and batteries.. Nitro engines will need to be adjusted with changes in temperature, humidity and barometric pressure..

either choice, you'll have maintenance on your power plant, along with the maintenance on the chassis.. I don't know what to tell you, if you want to just plug and play, you've probably chose the wrong hobby..
