XXX-NT won't draw a suction!!
I'm trying to get the truck started, it won't draw a vacuum and suck the fuel to the carb, I've changed the fuel line, does anyone have any ideas?

i know that this is dangerous please be carefull, take the fuel tubing that goes from the pipe to the fuel tank and pressurise the fuel line-tank by blowing air into the fuel line now if you put to much pressure in to the tank when you stop fuel will come back into your mouth so i suggest using a very long peice of tubing

battery is charged..

yeah starter boxes can be a hassle. just use a good old fashioned pull start, works everytime.

arrrrrgghhhhhH!!!! for 100 bucks this starter box is going to work or I'm going to use it for target practice!!! I've already missed the race tonight because I can't get a freshly built car to even start!!!
anyone know of a pull start for the .12 cv-r? I'll give up the horsepower to have something that'll actually work!!!!

Ahhhh you missed the race, that sucks. Still you should go to watch. Where do you race? I cant seem to find a pullstart. I see that they sell a roto start for a .12. Maybe thats a something you could try. Had one on my old dtx .18 but It was kinda of a hassle to carry around they starter device.

RE: XXX-NT won't draw a suction!!
well, I pulled the engine last night, checked it out.. nothing that I could find.. messed around, rebuilt my computer, decided to try another whack at the car..
this time I tore the top off of that stupid starter box!!! now I can find the dumb wheel so I can line it up with the flywheel and see what's really going on!!! I played with it for a few minutes and it fired right up.. it's been sitting a while, so I dialed on the carb and got it running decent. I then took it out in the gravel lot and ran some long runs and this thing screams!! I just wish I could get some traction to find out how fast it really goes.. I'm going to head over to the school parking lot to see if I can get some grip over there..
the only reason I'm even using the box is because everyone says that the pull start takes away a significant amount of the engines power.. I've already decided I don't like this box stuff...
(foul language to illustrate how I really feel edited by me )

MAybe me and you should meet over at neuqua valley high school and have a seesion of bashing and stuff. I am hoping to break my cv-rx in tomorrow. I go to neuqua when it isnt crowded. Big parking lot, great for dragging and other stuff.
