Default So Florida was HOT...(pics)

I just came back from vacation. I stayed at St. Augustine FL. I went to the beach again this year with my RC10GT. Saddly, It lasted 1 tank and I blew like 4 bearings including the clutchbell ones. Here are some picks, My spur gear also stripped(yay). I went to a hobby shop near there, it was only air planes.

The best place to use your truck in the sand is south carolina hilton head. The sand is hard packed so little bits of sand doen't get everywhere like in soft sand.

There is just something with YOU and FLORIDA that just doesn't end up well. Its either a hurricane or a broken truck after one tank.

last year we left florida the day before charlie hit.

my family is slowly moving down there, my aunt moved down there, then my 2 cousins, then my other cousin got married in michigan and she and her husband are lookin for a house down there, then my mom and dad are moving down there with my sister in the next 4 years or so. soon my grandma is following in the next. Im the only family member that is not gonna go down there because its way too hot!!!

And I think my bearings were old in the clutchbell...never did replace them. [&:]

why is it that the reality there is skyrocketing? Beach houses that were hit in the hurricane are selling for about 1 million a piece. I dono about you, but being in the path of tropical storms EVERY year, and having to rebuild... if that doesn't make you think "hmm, best i move somewhere else", then i dono what will. I was in florida for one night because our flight from miami to home left without EVERYONE. Honestly, all the planes that came from the bahamas arived one hr late. Our plane home left without everyone... good ole american airlines for ya. But back to florida, we had to stay there a night. Those are some of the snaughtiest people, most selfish people i have ever met in 6 hrs. And then I asked myself... why are there so many guys wearing makeup? Ugg, I am hoping this is ONLY Miami.

Hmm, I have been living in an area where its considered a 2 year drought right now "minnesota". Heck, we got trees dying everywhere. I dont think we have a tornado recorded to hit the ground YET this year!

I dono about other peeps, but I cant stand being within 300 yards to another house. Its gotta be a wooded lot with over 10 acres to spare. Otherwise its like where I am now. Gas stations threatening to buy out our houses just so they can compete with the one across the street. As it is, i piss off my stepdad for driving my tmaxx in the yard and on the driveway. Amazing how someone moves in and thinks he controls the whole house.

I belive Florida has some of the most brutal weather i've ever felt... and I have only lived here 4 years. I just got back from my lhs, they said they were gonna build a track in this big open field next to their lot. so I went there expecting to see some progress.. instead they are building this lame lookig circle track literally 2 feet from the building. and the county inspectors showed up and said they needed a permit so they had to stop. I hate this state.

needing a permit wouldn't be changed by being in a different state.

Look here Pal.... You have no idea how many times US yanks here that stupid southern redneck phrase "you don't like it then leave" or my favorite "I-95 runs north too y'know"
My point w/ my statement stands for everywhere in this country where you pay an astronomical amount of money for a piece of land, Pay taxes on it and then you can't do anything to it? To me it doesnt make scence.

petan
BEING IN A DIFFERENT STATE DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM NEEDING A BUILDING PERMIT, ANYWHERE

you ALWAYS need a building permit.
