MEGATECH M16 into a Nitro Rush??
i know the pro's and con's of the megatech engine, but my concern is whether or not i can get it into a nitro rush. I saw one online for only 45 bucks, which would be a great cheap replacement but no idea how hard it would be to get into my truck
Any advice would be appreciated.

Should not be a problem. Most small blocks are the same as far as how the mount. You will need a set of motor mounts, which can be gotten for less, then $10. In my opinion you would do a whole lot better saving up and getting a different engine.
You can get an OS .18 CV-RX for around $100 MUCH BETTER ENGINE!!!!

Here is a really reliable Megatech: http://www.megatech.com/product_deta...es.php?ID=4635 Maybe consider that one? Megatech is supposed to be releasing a racing engine, but last I heard about that was a year ago.

i have an OS cr-v in my rush that i use for dirt races but i want something as a backup/beater engine.
So i thought going cheap might be the way to go in that venue

If you get one let us know what you think. Sorry I have never been a big fan of Megatech but maybe the are getting better. I know what you get with OS. But things do change.

Megatech is gonna get back to me on the news with their engines. But FOR NOW, I'd rather have an OS since rebuild parts for megatech is pretty tuff right now. No one likes disposable engines.

I guess I haven't run mine enough to tell, but my m16 gets stronger with every tank. I bought my stampede with a p.o.s. engine in it. Being short on cash I bought an M16 and it has been a reliable fast motor. Easy to tune, and holds up very well. And for 50 bucks, No complaints here.
