I'm a slacker when it comes to this.. because I don't do a lot anymore, I use my airbrush to paint metal flake on the body, then I tape and use a can (pactra) to paint the rest..

Yeah spray cans will do. Using an Airbrush takes a while. I painted a body an it took a while to airbrush because they only spray a in small streams. Cans can do it much faster. Just that an masking tape and if you want, some flames or anyother designs.

If you want to get serious about it and do more than a body or two, get decent airbrush. Otherwise just pick up a spray can of each colour you'll need. Get the hobby paint made for lexan bodies. Anything else will likely flake off before too long.

There's plenty of info on techniques on the web, find them with google.

I prefer a airbrush cause I can get layering effects and blending you'll never get with a spray can. You can use either one....airbrushes aren't cheap, you'll get what you pay for in them a cheap one will work like crap...best one's are [link=http://www.paascheairbrush.com]paasche[/link] but you'll need a compressor or them little air cans for it to work...can cost a bit to get setup with decent airbrushes. As far as airbrushing taking longer...well why rush your paint job?

I paint mine all one color and so far have not done anything fancy because I have to replace my bodies about every gallon to gallon and half do to beating the heck out of them. I have thought about doing one for each of mine for show when not running. So far I have only used a spray can. [8D]
