right now i am building a jato from the ground up. when it is done it will have:

-O.S. .18TZ
-MX-3S radio system
-New Era Models roll bar
-Pro-Line crowd pleazer body
-Pro-Line dirt hawgz tires
-Pro-Line rims (undecided)
-Venom Smart temp failsafe
-Tuned Exhaust (undecided, probably O.S.)

if completely unused once it is built, how much will it be worth? the reason i ask is because i might consider selling it, mainly because i'm starting to lose interest in this hobby

Umm...if your losing intrest why bother building it? Once you install the engine on the rc..whether you ran it or not...it's worth nothing cause who would trust you didn't run it? and if you did how can they trust you ran it properly? I'll give ya $50 for it when your done, you can keep the accesories your adding too

when i started building it i was still really into this hobby. just recently i started losing interest, and its halfway done and its taking up space so i just want to finish the thing

Trust me dont sell it. You will one day really want in back. I losr interest in the hobby for a few months and then suddenly I was just like, R/C time yeah. And then it just came over me again and made think, what if I has sold the car? Trust me dont sell it because you will get back into the hobby and have nothing to do!

i mean whats on it right now...then you can no how much you can get for it...but seriously under normal circumstances you won't get more hten you pay'd for it stock new....even if its all aluminum and has fm radio...its dumb....1:1 cars have horrible resale...and so do 1:10 scale...but then again so do 1:18 1:12 1:10 1:8 and so on so yeah...don't sell...i was out of hobby for a year and decided to sell my trucks and as soon as i went in the room i fell in love again...just go out and have a good day running and you'll be hooked again....

I have a truck, which I am so glade did not sell that I built, and never fired it up. I had over $1,000 in it and I could not get $500 for it on ebay. RC stuff once out of the box drop in value big time. I am have been running the truck for the past year and so glade it did not sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to sell it sell it like it is and cut your loses!

The 18tz is a great engine to much power in my opinion for the Jato. My Jato is running sweet with a motor saver airfilter, Dirt dawgs and ribbed tires up front all on rustler wheels, If you've evr run a Jato It'll spin out with the power it has if you just punch it, It does better with The speed hawgs get it to go straight, It's all throttle management. That TZ will have it doing dough nuts all Day

rc cars are worth half what you paid for it the second you open the box i have $1200 in my tmaxx and i would be lucky to get $200 for it

hold on to everything. you will not get enough $$$ for it and in six months you will be glad you have it.. A couple of times I have thought of getting out of the hobby and everytime with in 3 to 6 months I am right back in and glad I did not get rid of anything.
