Default RC10GT RTR (SHOULD I CUT BODY HOLES?)

I just got an RC10GT (RTR) and I notice there is no hole in the windshield (other then the tiny one for the antenne) for cooling.
Should I dremel one out or is there a reason for this (to protect it from dirt?)

The reason I question it is because my NTC3 RTR PLUS came with one cut out in the windshiled (about the size of a quarter or 50 cent piece)

It's not a bad idea to, it'll help create more airflow through the truck, so yeah, go aead and do it.

Of all the things that are working against us in nitro(elec. too), heat is probably biggest killer. The occasional curb/tree/pole...does more visible damage, but evil heat is always working to thwart you. Anything you can do to get the heat out from under the body is a good thing. Try to find places that won't compromise the structural integrity of the body. As a rule, you want to leave curves and corners intact. Also not a bad idea to reinforce some of the most prone areas. Near the rear body mounts, over the wheel cutouts, front and rear bumper areas, are all prone to cracking. I use shoe-goo.
On this body I was able to just cut out the rear window of the extended cab for refueling. This body also has a ram air hood, so I cut that out too, but that was more for looks than function, but I'm sure it helps a little. I just bash, so weight isn't an issue. I buy the thickest lexan I can get, and I am not afraid to lay the goop on any cracked areas.
Some people like their truck to look shiny and new all the time, so these tips wouldn't apply, but for me, I don't like to have to paint a body every couple of weeks. I have turned all of the painting responsibility to my wife... I don't even get to pick colors.

This pic doesn't show, but the rear deck is cut out for glow plug and carb access.
