Dynamite 12spd. maybe why they don't have good rep.
I purchased a used Dynamite 12spd from E-bay as an extra, so it sat around for a while before I got around to taking it apart for porting. When I did get around to it, I saw by the staining that the index pin groove in the sleeve was off. I have had 2 of these engines in the recent past, and this is the first I have seen this, but if this was a random problem in the machining, then I can understand why some ppl say that it's underpowered. I haven't run one without the porting done in a couple of years, so I don't have any reference to that, but I think it has plenty of power after the porting. This time around is the most material I have removed from a sleeve, so I am looking forward to seeing how it performs. I think I will put in my buddies XXX-NT to test it out.(his engine is shot and he hasn't picked one out yet, so I got no-one to play with[:@])
I will post again prob next weekend after I run it.
The middle notch is centered
The set of four notches in the button are centered on the exhaust port

My only concern would be, if I remove too much material and make the sleeve too thin near the ports, am I going to change how the sleeve expands enough to cause problems?
Maybe prone to cracking from heat cycling? Anybody with any thoughts?
