Default servo making "clicking" noise....help

my steering servo is making noises when i try to steer. It does steer somewhat, but its making a noise, like when the gears are stripped. But when i took it apart, not a single gear had a missing tooth. When i pick the truck up and steer there's no noise only when i put it down. I have no idea what else it could be, besides stripped gears, but they're not...anybody had this prob? please help

could be that your servo is not strong enough due to batteries being weak, make sure that your rec pack is fully charged or does;nt have a bad cell in it that is what i belive is happening

its either skipping inside or basically just not strong enough, if you want a good one get a futaba s3050

the battery is fully charged, and i found out that its skipping inside. I'm guessing one of the gears is worn out on the inside where the tiny shaft goes, therefore causing the gear to wobble, hence skip. I just gave up and went to the track, and steering works just fine, i guess i'm just gonna run like that until the teeth break, then i'm gonna buy a set of gears. I'm not gonna spend the money on a new servo cause i'm not gonna run it that much anyway...goin off to college next week, although i'm commuting but still, not gonna run it as much.
