Default airfilter????

does anyone reccomend a high performance airfilter for the trx 2.5 that is affordable

In reality, just about every filter will deliver the same performance, unless it is very small. These little engines don't pull enough air to justify the need for a big, $20+, "performance" air cleaner. The stock one should be fine. If you don't like it, get the MotorSavers filter; around $15, has outer screen and replaceable element, and can get very dirty before it starts to effect the engine.

In my experience, I've gotten to trust motor saver over other filters. That's all I'll use on my engines, I toss the stock ones that come with the engine.
