I like sirio but I have heard things happening with the lsn on them. So I have narrowed it down between those too. I like slide carbs evrything in rc nitro I own is silde carb so I would like to stick with them. I have heard os motors are cheap last a long time and run really strong. Can you help me on this one. It is going to be for racing. I like speed so I cont know what to get. If you have other motors feel free to post a link to them.

I realyy dont like having to carry a bump box. I like pull starts because all I have to carry is the truck fuel, fuel bottle and remote oo yeah the ignitor too. I may sound lazy but to me it is the way to go because how many of us really like to take a bump box were evry we go? I know I sure dont

Neither one of those will work unless you plan on cutting the shaft. Also they are both good engines i have both of them. Also i just reread your post, and relized this will be for racing so the .12 is the only way to go.

My race track lets it race what you brung kind of place they dont go by roar rules but I am leaning more towards the .12 because IF I win they might complain he has a 15 in his truck

A .12 engine would definitely be the better choice if you plan on racing. A 2WD truck already has enough trouble getting the power to the ground, you don't need to make matters worse by further overpowering it. Believe it or not, a plain jane O.S. CV is still a great choice for racing because it is not overpowered. I have a Losi Drake 2 and I run both an O.S. .12 TR and an Orion Wasp .12 (Picco) and the O.S. is a better racing motor because it has an extremely smooth powerband and is very controllable. The Wasp can be much too punchy coming out of a sweeper where it is right at its peak power. An O.S. .12 CVR or the rear exhaust TR are both great choices.
