Hey guys i have a nitro sport with a traxxas 2.5r engine and it go about 50+ and i am still wanting to go faster what could i buy to make it go faster.

Umm...a new engine?

Gear it up. 22T bell, 70T spur.
I think they will work on the Sport. Check the options list in your manual or the Traxxas site to make sure.
I have this setup on my Rustler with a regular O.S. .12CV and the top speed is quite satisfying (for a stadium rig). A stronger engine will only improve your accelleration, if the gear ratio isn't changed.

wow I have the same motor in my Jato and it goes about 50. How are you measuring your speed?
I used a Radar gun 51.6 Mph at sea level

Seriously.. 50+ with the 2.5 on a sport? Your take-off has got to be pretty sluggish.

Here's what I would do.. OS .18 CV-R with a re-gear

i pop wheelies when i didnt have my sport lowered i could floor it or it would pop a wheelie so i lowered it so it wont and it goes 50+

No way, there is no way your NS can wheelie and do 50mph, how are you measuring your speed?
