Why high RPMs ???
Buy the Kind of engine from LHS, that suits the track, and budget.

My Feedback: (1)

I have an O.S. .12 TR that I use mostly for racing and I love it. It has just enough power so you can overpower the truck if you want to, but its smooth and controllable power delivery is the key to a fast truck. The TR can put as much power to the ground as just about any other engine, but still keeping the truck controllable. At $130, it is highly endorsed by everyone who has lost to me.
