still looks like a 1/10th to me...

a 10/10 would be the size of a real truck, and there is no way thats true in this situation.

Is that plastic wire loom tubing connecting the filter to the Carb? Redoing the filter setup should be a first on your list. Motor Saver filter and the correct fittings and you'dd be set.

From my experience with loom tubing and slit loom tubing, it cracks. And I wouldn't expect it to be sealed as well as a rubber air next does around the carb opening. I'm all about keeping goes into my engine clean, it insures a longer engine life. Motor saver ari filters come with necks, just make sure you get the size that fits the carb if and when you get one.

I would also move the air filter to a different location. Perhaps in front the engine? Behind it, you will be getting hot air off the cooling head ( i dunno if that makes a big difference). If your manifold ends up leaking at all, your filter will get fouled badly.

I'm with Snipin_willy about the tubing too. You don't want to take chances with dust getting sucked into the carb. If that tube cracks, your engine will be toast in short order, and you'll be scratching your head wondering why. Besides, it's ugly.

I'm really diggin that roll cage. It's a nice alternative to expensive store bought roll cages. Did you follow a set of directions or was that off the top of your head?

I think it looks pretty nice. I actually like the homemade stuff on cars, if it doesnt look like crap, because it is unique. I voted it 9/10 just because the other person was saying something about the tubing. Nice job, I really like the work. Also, can you tell any differnce with that ported and polished header???? I just got a team assoiciated rc10gt and a Tmaxx. I was just wondering on the rc10gt because it already has a .12 O.S engine and a aftermarket cooling head on it.
Thanks for the info.

Good idea with that rollcage! VERY cheap insurance!!! I would have used round tubing rather than square, but w/e...DOes it make much handling difference??

I wish I thought of that before I broke my engine head []

As for the air filter, buy a proper coupler, the position of that means that the engine is sucking in hot air straight off the engine head, meaning increased running temps and less power output.

Get a buddy and test it. Turn on the radio gear(but not the engine) and start walking. See how far you can get before the radio stops responding correctly.

i know the tube would be nicer but the square stuff was cheaper so.. about the handling it make sod all difference.

The T15 should be able to conjure up a wheelie...my O.S. .12 can!!

I think if you upgrade the clutch shoes or get better tyres you will be a winner.

yes i do but wheelieing using a pebble is cheating you should be able to do it with the raw power of the engine if it had any, lol i was watching outside my work yesterday at somebody racing a nitro rush on a big redgra and believe me it handles crap and went crap
cossie will you just leave the thread or something the rush is fine so stop dissin.

jkulhanek-yeh you can pull a wheelie but the front is about 250g overweight. i ment by the pebble to get it sky high on its own it can only pull one at about 30 degrees
