Should i trade in my Jato?
I have a jato which i bought as soon as it came out, but im getting board with it because the lack of hop ups and just the fact that stadium trucks are for racing, and no one in my area races, just bashes...... should i trade in my jato for a savage or trinity spyder? i heard the spyder was absolutly great, and the same body structure as the savage. should i trade in my somwhat hopped up jato? i have new A arms and a weird home built shock tower and new metal shocks....

well if you were to truely work with real cars, then you'd understand that NOTHING that runs on any type of fuel or gas will just "maintain itself".

i know that nothing maintains itself, but the jato is ooverwork on my time, it took me an hour to replace my A-arms... i just need somthing that will take less time to repair. also, im going to have 7 classes in school (high, 11th grade) and i cant fail n e of them or else ill get held back my senior year.... and i have all my summers booked....

RE: Should i trade in my Jato?
I never appreciated this hobby as much as I do now before the first time I raced on a good track. Bashing is fun... for about a week. But when you get to the track you'll never realize how much skill it takes to put one of these little vehicles around a track. And about the sport being a money pit.... this is by far the cheapest form of racing there is.. I also race sportbikes.. for the price of 1 set of tires that last 1 weekend I could buy an r/c model and hop it up. The better you are the less you break.

What hobby or past time is not a money pit?
I glade my tires on my motorcycle last a month, well that is when I ride to Alaska and back. 10,032 miles in 4 weeks.

I'ma take a lucky guess at this and say you're selling your jato because it got it's *** whooped by that electric, so you want something stronger and bigger, instead of smaler and "faster", but not as quick.

I've got about $3500 into my $700 Thunderbird, and nothing i've done is visible unless you REALLY look, lol, and i've got close to 2 into my old Suzuki that i got for $900, and my $50 Isuzu Trooper (i'm a 4 wheeler by nature) had close to 4 into it when it finally left
so you guys that tihnk my $800 stadium truck is nuts, lol to you
and unless you get a beater Savvy roller, good effing luck getting one in a straight trade for your Jato.

RE: Should i trade in my Jato?
ok, i dont want to trade in my jato because it got wooped by an electric, i never raced that guy unfortunatly, and savage aint faster then the jato.
second, im thinking that someone might have a track in there backyard and instead of a basher, they might want a ST to race, i have pull start installed already on it.
third, not all hobbies are money piuts, depends on how good you are at the hobbie, for example, you can buy a 200$ plastic model, build it to replicate the real thing, and sell it for about 500...
