Default Evader doing wheelies?

So I've run several tanks through my evader. I'm convinced that the break in is one of the best I've done to a car. With that said, I was launching the car yesterday and pulling wheelies. By the time my engine heated up, I found that if I didn't let off the accelerator, I'd flip the car right over. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome but would you say I'm running too lean on the low end needle or is this typical of these cars? Do you think it has anything to do with the break in?

Evaders can pull wheelies all day. I have noticed however that when i have it tuned like that she runs around 250. When i have it tuned for 220 it doesn't always do it.

my evader out of the box pulled wheelies.. it pulls even better ones with the OS .18 in it now..

if you don't have one, get a temp gauge, it'll tell you if you are too lean or not..

I use a temp guage. You're right. When I run about 220, I don't get the same results. What is the optimal speed that the engine should be running? I normally run 240-250

My truck is a beast. I plan to put a .18 tz into it. I haven't broken anything except a RPM ball cup. I like the way it handles now more than if it was light. I don't get bounced around when i go offroad and if I ever get into a crash I am perfectly fine. It's good stuff. You won't regret it. Oh wait, you will regret that you eat clutch bearings like mad.

not sure where the battery box mounts on that, but if you can move the batteries forward it helps alot! my little tower hobbies st15 will still lift the front end off the line and when it shifts to second, but not nearly as bad as when the battery was out back behind the rear tires.

Whoops! I meant to ask, what is the optimal temp. that the evader should be running in order to stay out of the danger zone?

I work at the lhs so i just use their bearings. at a buck a pop it isn't a big deal. I can get the tz with pullstart and sent it to TNT mods for 230. Can't wait for my tz to come in.
