HPI RS4 MT 2 speed transmission on road only???????
I just got my new (inhereted) MT runnung, and I am a little disapointed with the top speed. I am only using this truck for fun, and I was wondering why all of the 2 speed transmissions advise that they are for on road use only? Why and is this true? Can I run one on the dirt or what?

the advice is there because with no cover over the 2 speed(unlike the jato) cute little pieces of dirt can get in there and ruin the tranny/gears...my buddy has an mt2 with os .18tm on it with 2 speed and he runs it in dirt, but i wouldn't recommend it he stripped it once before and it ruined our whole day[
