Default Engine

OK. I have an RC10GT.. I wanted to put an O.S. .18tz turbo in it..but..im now told it will tear up my tranny..any suggestions on a good engine..i normally am just bashing..so i want a lot of speed..but is sometimes go to the track..so i need something that would be good with that, any suggestions?

The O.S. .18 CVR is a good engine, and for 100 bucks you can't beat it

If you are just bashing you can get the 18 but it will be hard on the truck. you can also get a os 12 or rb 12. Both will be more than fast enough.

is it that big a difference between the 12 and 18...like how fast does the 12 go..and how would the 18 be hard..hard in wut way?

An .18 would be hard on the tranny. You can beef it up with metal gears, but it will still be hard on your truck. I've got GTs with 12s and 15s. I have a GT with a mugen MT 12 on it. I mostly bash at a private track and let me tell you, that MT 12 is waaay too fast. Of course you don't have to pull the throttle trigger all of the way back. I guess the main question that we all ask ourselves at some point is, how fast is fast enough? I'm guessing that you have the stock AE 15 on your truck. A high performance 12 will smoke that 15.
By the way, what part of GA are you from?

a 12CVR has more than enough power for an RC10GT, why bother with a TZ?

yeh, the 12 cv-r in my car has WAY too much power. its awesome.

Dann only $110 ajnd with no tranny problems
