Alot of duratrax stuff wasn't very good. But they cleaned up their act with the evader. It's a great truck

See? It's called unbiased comments. The RC10GT was my first truck. Completely awesome. However, the evader seems to handle slightly better and has a sealed reciever box. Good stuff, oh and also, everyone and their mom has a RC10GT

Evaders a good truck but for bashing nothing beats a nitro rustler... over powered and high ground clearace . Out of all of the toys I have now I still play with the rusty the most.

Rustys are pretty awesome, but i never really broke stuff on my evader. I switched to all aluminum for extra weight so i could still have contact with the ground when the .18 TZ goes in

Why wasn't the Jato included in this poll? Actually I don't have one (yet) but I have heard it holds its own in the durability department.

Jato = Jet Assisted Truck for Off-road.

I have a HPI nitro MT and it, hands down, beats the Evader as far as bashing goes. 4WD vs 2WD, MT is built much heavier and more so like a 1/8 buggy. Worse part of the MT are the stock differential gears (cast aluminum). HD gears can be had for quite an investment, but I've seen people run .21 size engines with the HD gears and have no problems.

MT got my vote for bashing.

the xxx-nt and the jato are out of my price range, especially the jato. thats why they werent included. i just put down stuff i could afford. i just put the xxx-nt up, however, b/c i know thats a great truck. if it gets alot of votes, ill save up a little more and buy it, but im a little anxious right now

im pretty sure tho ill go with the rusty. whats the best/biggest engine i can put in it and with what mounts? i wont be racing, so im not gonna spend $200 on some OS .12 9102243port turbo lol. what is the difference between normal and turbo?

EDIT 1: why is the Jato so much? $350 for a .15 stadium truck? and its so small. saw one at local hobbytown.

on a side note: do the twin engine models (giga crusher DF, hot bodies gtx2, ect) preform better than single engine models?

get a OSm 18 TM its is a direct fit, ez start and all, with no mods. as fro turbo vs standard, turbo plugs are glow plugs that have a perfect shape, that is perfectly contoured fro turbo engines.

Predator
Those are Big mountain trucks. I don't own one, but I imagine they don't perform well because they are so heavy. The aern't even fast for having 2 big blocks. Plus for the price.......
