Need help identifying this truck...
One of the neighborhood kids has asked me to help him fix his nitro truck. The pull start cord is broken and it is missing the two front half shafts for the AWD. I don't see any sort of manufacturer info anywhere on the frame and he lost the body for it. Any ideas on what brand/model of truck this is? Also, where would be the best place to get the parts I need for it online?
Thanks ahead of time.

RE: Need help identifying this truck...
HPI Nitro MT was my first guess, but the t-15 engine lable or the 15FE engine lable of the pullstarter or on the crank case would have given it away. Also, "HPI" is molded into the plastic electronics bracket over where the battery would be located.
A picture would be very helpful in being sure on my part. Either that, or take it by a local hobby shop and ask them.

it's defnitely a nitro MT. look at the cowl over the spur, and the new era roll bar (which they make for the nitro MT). also the suspension arm design, and the shocks are definitely HPI units. shock towers are a dead giveaway too.
that's also not a 15FE

If I still had my manual I could tell you. Are you talking about the dogbones that reach out from the differential to each wheel? If so, I memorized that part number. It's A554, the front dogbones in the nitro MT are KNOWN for flying out at the worst possible times. Best solution for the problems is to get some small o-rings (like those in a shock rebuild kit) and put them in the outdrives to take up the slack so the dogbones don't get loose with steering from side to side.
