Well I cant use my old log in name, no longer have that email address.
Made a friend at my new job that runs Nitro too. He took me to a local track for practice time the last 2 sundays.
I had a blast.
But, I got bit by the hop up bug again.
In the last 2 weeks i have upgraded the turn buckles to titanium, with blue ends, new ball joints old ones kept popping off.
Replaced the reciever alkaline pack with a hump pack, and added a Hi Torque servo for steering today, and a blue aluminum servo arm. I kept over steering like mad! I could not believe the difference, I replaced the futaba s3003 with a hitec 645. I went from 40oz of torque to 133oz. The difference is crazy(servo was only 39.99 locally). Not to mention the new servo is faster. I have to completely relearn how to drive the truck.
NEWays. Im wanting to go with silver and blue aluminum hop up parts to match the new turnbuckles. I found the a Arms and Shock towers at www.asiatees.com Anybody ever used them? Or know of any other online shops with silver or blue aluminum for the HPI MT(not MT2 or MT2SS).
By the way watching him run his Losi LST and the Savages I saw at the track I'm also gonna buy the Savage 4.6 kit. I want a monster truck as well as my ST4x4 ;-).

i have the pipe, engine runs strong, and i have an HPI 4.6 Savage kit on the way from tower. I want to trick out the MT. Once I add the aluminum and put more use on the engine ill get the OS .18 CV-RX.
I had a 2 speed in it but removed it, I run off road and at a clay track here local, with alot of jumps and tight turns, Only 1 straight away. She would hardly ever see the second gear.
Ill post a pick of the truck soon.
She is coming along, I want her to stand out from the REST. And I dont mind the extra wieght.
